What we collect and why
Quote requests
When you ask for a quote we receive your name, email address, phone number, the type of work, the site town, how you heard about us and your message. We use these to reply to you and prepare a quote, because you asked us to.
The form also tells us how you reached the site: the website that linked to us, the first page you visited, any campaign tags in the link and, if you clicked a Google advert, its click ID. We use this to understand which listings and adverts bring us enquiries, which is in our legitimate interests.
Each request is emailed to us and copied into our private enquiry log, a Google Sheet.
Special offers and updates
If you subscribe, we keep your email address to send occasional offers and maintenance reminders. We do this with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in any of our emails or by contacting us.
Website analytics
Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how people use the site: the pages viewed, the type of device and browser, roughly where visitors are, how they arrived, and actions such as tapping our phone number or sending the quote form. We use this, with your consent, to improve the site.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. These companies handle it on our behalf:
- Resend, which delivers the form emails
- Google, for Google Analytics and the Google Sheet that holds our enquiry log
- Vercel, which hosts the website
Some of them may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for our business records
- Subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
- Google Analytics data: 14 months
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details above.
